It is so hard to find little quirky accents for your home when you are renovating or creating a new space with character.  If you have old lights in your home that have the pull chord type of switch you will love these!
 
Large acorn shaped light pull knotted on a 5mm thick jute rope (2 metres long). Oiled oak.
 
Tie the top of the existing light chord into the rope loop and trim excess (leave enough light chord to attach a ferrule if necessary). Allow pull to hang and adjust height, re-knot and trim if necessary.
