I have found two of these c1960's I'm guessing timber lab stands with glass beakers.  Both stands are the same height and the holders can be adjusted to move up and down the pole to whatever height suits you.  The beakers are held in by hinged timber pieces that screw tight.  Very decorative and unusual.
